商品簡介
This companion to anarchist studies brings together two dozen scholars' rigorous introductions to, and analyses of, anarchism and anarchist research. Each chapter is an individually or collaboratively authored essay and chapters are grouped in sections on approaches to anarchist research, current research being done by anarchists and/or about anarchism, and materials for further research which include key terms, bibliographies that include conventional and nonconventional publications, and regionally specific primers on anarchism. Specific chapters explore methodologies of insurrection in art history, participant observation, postanarchism, social ecology, anarchist anthropology, genders and sexualities, literature under the anarchist lens, race as a factor in anarchist research and organizing, Spanish-speaking anarcho-syndicalism, anarchism in the People's Republic of China, and more. This text is oriented toward 20th and 21st century anarchism. The contributors are mostly European and Canadian academics, but include individuals working independent of the academy.
