Ken Womble is an Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Northern Colorado. For fifteen years he worked as an actor in New York and Los Angeles, performing in three Off Broadway premieres and recurring on Guiding Light. Ken continues to act in regional theatre.He has directed award winning productions of The Three Sisters and Dancing at Lughnasa, and wrote and directed the first-ever documentary on James Michener, James A. Michener, An Epic Life. His adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream is frequently produced around the country. Ken coaches actors for Broadway, film and TV, and conducts audition and film acting workshops at universities and other venues. He lives in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with his wife Sandy.
