Robert Gillett was educated at Oxford and holds a PhD from Cambridge. He is Reader in German and Comparative Cultural Studies at Queen Mary University of London and has published books on Hubert Fichte, Uwe Johnson, Bertolt Brecht and Queer.Ernest Schonfield, PhD, was educated at Sussex and University College London. He is Lecturer in German at the University of Glasgow. His publications include a monograph on Thomas Mann, an edited volume on Alfred Doblin, and articles on Goethe, Heine, J.P. Hebel and E.S. Ozdamar.Daniel Steuer, PhD, is Research Fellow at the School of Humanities (CAPPE, University of Brighton). He has published articles and books on, among others, Goethe, Musil, Bernhard, Adorno, and Wittgenstein, and has strong interests in critical theory and social and political thought.
