Irene Zaderenko, Ph.D. (1994), Graduate School-City University of New York, is Professor of Spanish Literature at Boston University. She has published monographs and many articles on epic poetry, including El monasterio de Cardena y el inicio de la epica cidiana (Universidad de Alcala de Henares, 2013).Alberto Montaner, Ph.D. (1994), Universidad Complutense de Madrid, is Professor of Spanish Literature at Universidad de Zaragoza. He has published monographs, philological editions, and many articles on epic poetry, including a landmark edition of Cantar de mio Cid (Real Academia Espanola, 2011; 2nd. rev. ed. 2016).
