機械工程專業英語（簡體書）

《機械工程專業英語》由方子帆編著，從適用性出發，以機械零件、部件、系統、施工機械與水力發電機為主線索逐層展開，表現機械工程專業英語詞匯的完整性與專業的水電領域應用特色；以力學原理、設計方法、制造技術與應用方式為輔線階梯上升，表現機械工程專業的層次性。全書包括機械工程領域職業稱謂、機械設計基礎、機械制造技術基礎、施工機械、水力發電機、施工自動化的英語詞匯、句子表達方式、篇章結構以及科技英語表達方法等。

方子帆，男，1963年10月出生，湖北省黃岡市人，博士，教授，博士生導師，現任三峽大學機械與材料學院院長；主要研究方向為機械設計理論與方法、特種裝備與結構設計技術、車輛系統動力學與控制；以特種裝備與結構對象，開展系統建模、系統控制、系統仿真與結構設計問題研究，發表論文116篇，期中EI收錄24篇，ISTP收錄10篇；獲湖北省科技進步獎2項，獲計算機軟件著作版權2個。

As vehicle road speed increases, turbine speed increases until it approachesimpeller speed. Oil exiting the turbine vanes strikes the back face of the stator,causing the stator to rotate in the same direction as the turbine and impeller. Atthis higher speed, clearance exists between the inner stator race and hub. Therollers in each slot of the stator are pulled around the stator hub. The statorfreewheels or turns as a unit.
If the vehicle slows, engine speed also slows along with turbine speed. Thisdecrease in turbine speed allows the oil flow to change direction. It now strikes thefront face of the stator vanes, halting the turning stator and attempting to rotate itin the opposite direction.
