Park, an author of Korean language books who works in information technology and has edited English language practice books for Koreans, presents a dictionary for English speakers who are studying Korean at the beginning and intermediate levels. It contains 5,645 Korean headwords in alphabetical order, with sample sentences and includes common contemporary words, commonly used example phrases, notes and idioms, and business and technical terms. Parts of speech and English equivalents are given, as are some antonyms and synonyms. It also has a guide to Korean characters and their pronunciation, 100 Chinese characters most frequently used in Korean words, and an online English-Korean word finder. 作者簡介
Kyubyong Park worked at an educational publishing company focusing on practice books for Koreans learning English, giving him an expertise in the different learning techniques for these two languages. Park is the author of 500 Basic Korean Verbs and the co-author of Korean for Beginners. He lives in Seoul.
