Florentino Garcia Martinez is Professor of Early Judaism and Dead Sea Scrolls at the Universities of Leuven (Belgium) and Groningen (The Netherlands), where he heads the Qumran Instituut. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for the Study of Judaism and has written numerous books and articles, particularly on the Dead Sea Scrolls.Gerard P. Luttikhuizen, Ph.D. (1984), is Professor of Early Christian Literature and New Testament Studies at the University of Groningen. He has published on early Christian Judaism and non-canonical early Christian texts, and on Coptic Gnostic Literature.
