The Broken Down Shack is a story of redemption that allegorizes the struggle every person experiences in their walk through life. The shack is redeemed from it's deteriorated condition by a kind woman who sees its potential rather than its current state. Originally conceived in the mind of the author as a child, it has been finally reimagined as an adult and written for children. It is illustrated by two of the author's own children.
