Consultants Robillard and Wilson update again their textbook and reference on the legal aspects of surveying, an area rarely covered in either surveying or law courses. It can be used alone or in conjunction with another textbook in a course, or as a reference for practicing surveyors. They do not explain how to survey, but what to do with a completed survey, and what clients expect from a survey. Among the topics are words as evidence, calculations and measurements as evidence, recording and preserving evidence, original surveys and related platting laws, guarantees of title and location, professional liability, and the surveyor in court.
