eHealth: Combining Health Telematics, Telemedicine, Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics to the Edge: Global Experts Summit Textbook

Blobel, Pharow, and Nerlich (all U. of Regensburg Medical Center, Germany) present a collection of invited papers from an international conference on eHealth held in Regensburg in December 2007. Twenty-five papers by 46 international experts representing all eHealth domains are organized into seven sections: combining the domains; eHealth for personalized care; legal, ethical, political and social challenges for the advancement of eHealth systems; new sciences and technologies; eHealth from dream to reality; national eHealth strategies and implementations; and multidisciplinary and multilingual semantic interoperability.
