作者簡介
Ken Stark is the illustrator of many picture books, including Growing Seasons by Elsie Lee Splear and Oh, Brother!, which he himself authored. The larger-than-life personalities involved in the civil War are what sparked Ken’s interest in doing this book. His research took him to Virginia and the village of Appomattox Court House, where he visited the McLean house and imagined being a witness to the surrender scene. Ken lives in south-western Wisconsin with his wife, Chris.
