作者簡介
W. George Selig, EdD, began his career as a teacher in Alaska and Washington before moving to Massachusetts where he received his doctorate and was a Special Education Director in Northampton and Longmeadow. From there he went to Regent University where he served as professor, Dean of the School Education, and as Provost of the university. After stepping down as Provost, he was named as the George Selig Distinguished Chair of Educational Leadership. Dr. Selig has written many book and articles and has spoken frequently at professional conventions.
Linda D. Grooms, PhD, began her career as a high school band director in South Carolina before moving to Virginia where she served as an elementary school guidance counselor and as a K-6 building administrator for 12 years prior to assuming her current position of Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at Regent University. In addition to her university teaching, she conducts leadership training both nationally and internationally, while continuing her longitudinal research of the ontology, epistemology, and axiology of leaders and their consequent development of those they serve.
Alan A. Arroyo, EdD, is currently Professor and Dean in the School of Education at Regent University. Prior to coming to Regent in 1986 and serving as dean from 1996-2012 and from 2013-present, he served as an administrator for most of his 14 years in Illinois K-12 school districts. He has co-authored several books, articles, book chapters, and funded grants.
Michael D. Kelly, EdD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at Virginia Tech where he teaches in the educational leadership program. Prior to his tenure as a professor, Mike was a principal and teacher in the Virginia Beach City Public School System where his school was identified as a “School to Watch” by the National Middle School Association.
Glenn L. Koonce, EdD, was a teacher, coach, principal, and assistant superintendent prior to his position as Associate Professor and Chair of Educational Leadership Programs at Regent University.
Herman Dee Clark, Jr., through his tenure as principal and assistant superintendent in Norfolk, VA, an inner city public school system, proved that when community and school work cooperatively together, ALL students can succeed, and meet and/or pass the minimum requirements on state competency tests.
