This study seeks to teach the Believer, especially Missionaries, the practicalities of what to do when faced with the troubled waters of life. We need to immediately discern between the waters of training from the Lord and satanic floods of affliction; because the next steps we would need to take do differ in either situation. There are copious prayers strewn all over the book to train us how to pray to God as we seek His help to see us through each episode so that the waters would take us up and closer to Him in our walk with Him rather than give us a Kadesh Barnea experience of going back to square one and round and round the same mountain, never moving forward in our Christian race and expiring before we reach our Promised Land... heaven forbid!
