International contributors present recent work in the fields of computational biology and systems biology. Topics include current omics technologies in biomarker development, and ethics and privacy considerations for system biology applications in predictive and personalized medicine. The second section reviews recent advances in the development of methods in sequence and high-throughput data analysis. Some areas investigated include bioclustering of DNA microarray data and prediction of epigenetic target sites by using genomic DNA sequencing.
