Are the characteristics and relationships among spatio-temporal entities "real" or are they simply conventional terms that note similarities among things in the world but lack any reality of their own? Andrew Schoedinger?(d. 2012) was a professor of philosophy at Boise State University. He was awarded the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in philosophy from Brown University (1974)–before which he graduated from Hobart College. His interests were mainly in metaphysics, ethics, and medieval philosophy. He is the author of Introduction to Metaphysics, The Problem of Universals, and other works.
