Law in America looks at the law in all its aspects, from its loftiest symbols and the institutions where its tenets are taught to the history of its practice in America. And appropriate attention is given to the law's ever-faithful companion, the media, and the tremendous influence it and American popular culture exert on how smoothly the wheels of justice turn.

Blair Kauffman is Law Librarian and a Professor of Law at Yale Law School, and Bonnie Collier is a Law Professor at Yale Law School, New Haven, Connecticut.
