There are 104 chapters, in 13 sections, including behavioral approaches, procedures and techniques, integrative and complementary approaches, electrical and magnetic therapies, special populations, legal and ethical considerations, and beliefs, religion, and spirituality. Five chapters have been included on practice issues, including starting a pain clinic and implementing a pain management program. The Academy's code of ethics, bill of rights, credentialing, and other information are included in appendices.
