商品簡介
Kay (U. of Kansas) attempts to solve some of the riddles that he finds in Commedia and figures Dante left hanging on purpose to engage the intellect of readers. Among these are the sins of Brunetto Latini, the spare ribs of Dante's Michael Scot, Vitrivius and Dante's giants, mental illumination in Paradiso 33.141, and acrostic allegations in several passages. The 20 articles, one in Italian, were published between 1970 and 2005, but mostly in the 1990s, and are reproduced with the original page numbers.
