Jimmy Cornell has influenced the contemporary cruising scene more than any other sailor. Thousands of sailors have fulfilled their dreams of offshore cruising with the help of Jimmy's books and by participating in one of his round the world rallies. He himself has sailed over 200,000 miles in all the oceans of the world, from Antarctica to the Arctic, including three circumnavigations. He is the author of World Cruising Routes and the forthcoming World Cruising Destinations, also published by Adlard Coles Nautical.
