He chooses the location of his dreams- Tataouine, or Tatooine, the desert location he had seen portrayed countless times since childhood while watching his favorite films- the Star Wars trilogies. For Toby, his best friend Luke, and Sophie this idea of a getaway plants the seed for what will become the journey of a lifetime. On this trip, the destination becomes more than a place but a climax, a symbol for the pinnacle of a rite of passage that weds the age old myth of the inward journey and the lonely pilgrimage of self development we must all take with a modern context of identities shaped and influenced by the encompassing presence of the film medium.
