Virginia Luis Fuentes MA VetMB PhD CertVR DVC DipACVIM DipECVIM-CA (Cardiology) MRCVS Virginia graduated from the University of Cambridge and after five years in small animal practice became a lecturer in veterinary cardiology at the University of Edinburgh. She completed a PhD in ultrasound studies of canine dilated cardiomyopathy, and became an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1997-2001, and then a clinical assistant professor at the Ohio State University from 2001-2003. Virginia has been a senior lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College since 2004.
Lynelle R. Johnson DVM MS PhD DipACVIM Lynelle received her DVM from The Ohio State University, was in private practice in New York for three years, and completed a masters degree and residency program at the University of Illinois. She received her PhD in physiology from the University of Missouri. She is a member of the Veterinary and Comparative Respiratory Society and the Feline Advisory Board. Lynelle is on faculty at the University of California, Davis, where she sees primarily respiratory cases and engages in research into clinical respiratory diseases of dogs and cats.
Simon Dennis BVetMed MVM CertVC DipECVIM-CA (Cardiology) MRCVS Simon graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2000. He then completed an internship in small animal clinical studies in 2001 at the University of Glasgow. Whilst at Glasgow he started a master of veterinary medicine degree with a thesis in canine electrocardiography, which he was awarded in July 2002. Simon spent four years in general practice, before returning to the RVC to complete a residency in cardiology from 2005-2008. He is currently a lecturer in cardiology at the RVC
