The second part consists of hymns based on well-known liturgical texts from Morning and Evening Prayer and Holy Communion, a metrical Creed approved by the Church of England as an authorized Affirmation of Faith, and metrical versions of three well loved prayers, including the Lord's Prayer.
The tunes to which these words have been set strike a balance between the traditional and contemporary.
