 One day, I saw a luxurious car surrounded by a crowd of people, everyone craned their necks to see who was in the car. A man in a suit and a woman dressed coquettishly(妖艷地) came out the car and was anxiously asking people to help them fix the car. It turned out that there was something wrong with the car engine. They said they would provide a great reward if anyone could fix the car for them. Then the man took out one hundred dollars and shouted, “This will be given to the one who helps me fix the car.”
 One young guy beside me, who wanted to try to fix the car, was pulled back by his partner; his partner said, “Do not believe what the rich people say.” At that time a child was walking by and said, “Let me give it a try.” It was so simple that it took less than one minute for the child to fix the car.
 After the car was fixed, the man in suit took out his wallet. Just when he was about to hand one hundred dollar note to the boy, the woman shouted, “Are you really going to give him one hundred? Five will be enough.” The woman handed a five dollar note to the boy, but the boy shook his head and rejected the money. The man thought the boy was angry, so handed another five. The boy still shook his head, which made the man a little mad, “Do you still think it is not enough? If so, you will get nothing.” “No sir, we do not ask for pay when we help others. So I am just waiting for you to say thank you.”

This summer when Mike went with his girlfriend, Vera, to a night market, he was happy to find a stand that sells jacket potatoes. Mike bought one with ham and pineapple for himself and asked if his girlfriend would also like to try one. Vera agreed and ordered one with fruit salad. As the one she ate tasted so good, Vera asked whether Mike knew how to make one.
Mike said he used to see how his host family made it when he stayed in America. And it was not difficult to make. First, preheat the oven. Then, choose a good potato and wash its skin until it’s clean. After drying the washed potato with a towel, put it into the heated oven and wait for twenty to thirty minutes. When the potato is ready, cut it open and put any food you like on top of it to make it taste even better.
After listening to what Mike told her, Vera understood why it is called a jacket potato it’s because one eats the potato with its skin on it.
