Anyone engaged with photography will find plenty to savor. There's no text (beyond a section of brief captions), just images--365, one for each day of the year--from the archive of the famous international photo agency, founded in 1947. Magnum is owned and operated collectively by approximately 60 members; photos were selected by members according to no particular theme but rather for their representation of the best work of the best photographers. The images span the decades, and encompass all types of subject matter, and are presented full page in a 9x9" format. Because each photo is identified with a consecutive day of the year, the really restrained reader can simply turn one page at a time for a full year of viewing.
