Besides providing for their basic, immediate needs, such as food, shelter, and healthcare, Covenant House also provides a comprehensive, counseling support system to transition these youth into adulthood. In Covenant House, Bruce Ritter, founder of Covenant House, tells the story of how Covenant House came to be and his experience ministering to the needy youth of New York City and beyond.
作者簡介
Rev. Bruce Ritter (1927-1999) was a Roman Catholic Priest and Franciscan Friar. After teaching theology at Manhattan College in the Bronx, he founded Covenant House in New York City, the largest, privately funded Agency in America that provides help for needy youth.
