This book explores a wide range of mathematical concepts relating to regularly repeating surface decoration and provides a comprehensive means of classifying patterns and tilings. Clare Horne holds an honors degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics and a post graduate diploma in Textile Design. Her PhD at the University of Leeds, UK combined the two disciplines of mathematics and design.
