Rowe (health and life sciences, York St. John U., York, UK) introduces playback theatre as a form of improvised drama, developed by the company of Jonathan Fox and Jo Salas in 1975, in which audience members are invited to tell personal stories to a "conductor" and have these enacted. Audiences have included mental health patients and professionals. The book explores ethical and therapeutic issues, and concludes with a full sample story and the "script" forms used by the York and other theatre companies. 作者簡介
Nick Rowe is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, York St John University. He has been an actor with Playback Theatre York for over ten years and is a State Registered Dramatherapist.
