When a young teen is uprooted with his family from his home after a mysterious tragedy, he discovers a dark secret and its ties to an ancient treasure that holds the power to potentially conquer nations and transform the world. This is the story of Felix Gannon, an outsider kid. Felix hears tales of treasure from one of the workers repairing the dilapidated island home his family has inherited. In the islands and especially the Bahamas, original sites still exist on land and below the waves that make one feel as if stepping onto your own movie set, becoming immersed in cultures rich in both lore and historical fact. As an avid traveler and scuba diver, the author has extensively explored the Caribbean and Bahamas and has participated in search efforts with an exploration and salvage company for the last undiscovered galleon wreck of the 1715 Spanish Plate Fleet off the coast of Vero Beach, Florida. When not writing, he enjoys, diving, history, and family.
