Andrea Pejrolo is the Assistant Chair of the Contemporary Writing and Production Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, as well as a composer, producer, music technology expert, audio engineer, and bassist. He is the author ofCreative Sequencing Techniques for Music Production, Acoustic and MIDI Orchestration for the Contemporary Composer, and has written several articles for music magazines, includingSound On Sound Magazine, MacWorld, Computer Studio Magazine and Bass World Magazine. Andrea has extensive professional experience as a sound designer, audio engineer/producer, MIDI programmer, and composer for film, TV, theater, and multimedia. He is also an active presenter and lecturer for prestigious conferences such as AES and MacWorld.

Richard DeRosa is an associate professor at the University of North Texas, where he is serving as director of jazz compositiorranging studies. He is the author ofConcepts for Improvisation: A Comprehensive Guide for Performing and Teaching andAcoustic and MIDI Orchestration for the Contemporary Composer. Mr. DeRosa has also served as co-arranger, orchestrator, and conductor for the critically acclaimed recording projects, Dial & Oatts: Brassworks and When Winter Comes featuring guitarist Fred Fried. In October, 2012, Mr. DeRosa was invited by the WDR Big Band (Cologne, Germany) to be a guest conductor and feature his compositions and arrangements.
