Professor Tina Bruce (CBE) draws together her most prominent writings in one place, including chapters from her best-selling books and articles from leading journals. Her accomplished 30 year international career in education centring on the Froebelian tradition is well known and this book will include chapters looking at the ideas of this in relation to literacy and play. The readings have been chosen to illustrate the changes that have occurred in Professor Bruce’s thinking and practices and a short introduction is provided for each chapter that is intended to help readers to understand the significance of what is presented and how this relates to other chapters in the book.
作者簡介
Professor Tina Bruce CBE was formerly Director of the Centre for Early Childhood Education, University of Roehampton. She has a long and distinguished publishing career and was on the Ministerial Advisory Group for ten years contributing to the ‘Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage’, ‘Birth to Three matters’, and the EYFS.
