In recent years many U.S. schools have implemented tiered support models to address a range of student needs, both academic and behavioral. Simultaneously, cognitive behavioral therapy has gained popularity as an effective means of intervening with the student population. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Schools aims to provide school-based practitioners with the skills needed to implement CBT within a tiered model, including establishing CBT-based service delivery; monitoring multiple tiers of service; working collaboratively with teachers and administrators; and managing the challenges of delivering CBT within the school setting.
作者簡介
Linda Raffaele Mendez, PhD is an Associate Professior in the School Psychology Program at University of South Florida. Her research interests include gender equity in schools, supports and services for families who have children with special needs, and prevention of behavior problems in schools.
