Stephen Nobel is a pretty regular kid. He can get a little anxious, but his habit of going over events again and again in his head makes him feel a little less worried. This kicks into hyperdrive after a series of crazy events at school one day: someone smashes a car into the building, and the bomb squad blows up a backpack. If that wasn’t bad enough, now Stephen’s favourite dogs, Ping and Pong, are at the mercy of a dognapper. Then the threatening texts from a criminal start.
His new friend Renée wants Stephen to go to the police to clear her brother’s name after he is accused of crashing the car. But if Stephen isn't careful, Ping and Pong are in deep trouble.

作者簡介
Sylvia McNicoll is the author of over thirty novels. Her book Bringing up Beauty won the Forest of Reading Silver Birch Award. Her books have been nominated for the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Young Adult Crime Book and the Rocky Mountain Award. Sylvia lives in Burlington, Ontario.
