So we’ve been on this trip… A fictional trip through the ups and downs of modern family life in America where Mom and Dad ain't WHO or WHAT they used to be. The mirror is a little cracked and we're tripping over the rabbit hole… and often, but life continues on even as illness, death and crisis after crisis upends the spectrum of normal... Yes… life goes on and on and on.Modern “family" life that is...And "The Puppy Howls No Longer" continues the journey begun in “And The Puppy Howls…” only now that trip has become more complicated, more confused… the final destination further away. And perhaps the trip itself has become a little weird… or perhaps the trip has become a lot weird. But we’re not down that Rabbit Hole yet… this is still a reality based fictional narrative after all. But… oh, that blend of individual realities… And… oh, that confusion… And… oh, that renewal…It’s been no secret that relationships in modern America ain’t what they used to be. Now Moms go to work and some Dads stay home… And when both parents are home with the kids it could be Mom and Mom, or Dad and Dad… Or Mom in construction duds and Dad in a dress… Or perhaps Dad has had some hormone shots to soften his skin and enlarge his… or perhaps Dad has even had some surgery to let his other side finally be free… In "And The Puppy Howls No Longer" these new interpersonal dynamics are fictionally related and explored. New relationships form, new families are created; sexual confusion, identity exploration, illness, surgery, love and death evoke crisis after crisis; and recovery and new growth occur as still more things change.
