商品簡介

Time and History in Prehistory examines time and history first and foremost as analytical issues. It draws attention to the many processes through which time and history are conceptualised and constructed both academically in archaeology and its related disciplines and socially within past societies, drawing equally on contemporary theory and on case-studies. The issue of time remains under-theorised in archaeology, and history has rarely been problematised at all. Time and History in Prehistory begins to rectify that lack.
