《機械設計製造及其自動化專業英語》共分為三部分(Part),30個單元(Unit)。第一部分為機械設計與製造的基本知識,包括金屬材料、非金屬材料、材料的機械性能、材料力學、金屬材料熱處理、機械及機械零件設計、製造工藝、加工設備、增材製造、特種加工工藝、數控機床、液壓系統、熱力學、流體力學、化工機器、質量保證與控制等。第二部分為自動控制的基本知識,包括控制原理、控制系統類型、反饋控制原理、測量系統、過程控制、傳感器及信號轉換、系統狀態監測、人工智能、可編程邏輯控制器等。第三部分為現代先進製造技術,主要介紹機電一體化、計算機數控、機器人、計算機輔助製造、柔性製造系統、計算機集成製造、自動組裝、敏捷製造、精益製造、大批量定制生產、虛擬製造、綠色產品製造等。
本書的內容覆蓋了機械設計製造及其自動化專業的基本內容及最新發展成果。各單元之間,既有一定的內在聯繫,又獨立成章,可根據不同學時數靈活選用。
本書可供機械工程及相關專業本科生使用,也可作為同等程度的專業技術人員的自學教材。

作者簡介
馬玉錄,華東理工大學,教授,1982年華東理工大學畢業後留校至今,先後赴美國、瑞典等高校做訪問學者,長期從事一線教學工作和科研工作,主編《機械設計製造及其自動化專業英語》,該教材先後獲得中國石油和化學工業聯合會2010年度中國石油和化學工業優 秀出版物獎(教材獎)一等獎和2011年上海普通高校優 秀教材獎二等獎。
