Someone once said 'I have the most difficult job in the world: to get people to take God seriously'. We may think this statement only applies to non-Christians. Yet, according to the words of Jesus, this also applies very much to professing Christians.
Is the faith that you rely on for heaven, Biblical? Can we just believe in Jesus, can we offer God any faith and He has to accept it? Not according to God's Word Can you imagine coming before the Judgement Seat of God with great confidence to be let into heaven, and hear Jesus call you 'evildoer' (Matthew 7:23)?
Read this message. Check its accuracy against the Bible. Ask God to show you the truth of your own heart. Decide to take God seriously. Your eternity depends on following Jesus in the way God requires.
Jesus said 'Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For whoever asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened'' (Mat 7:7-8). God loves mankind so much that His Son died to create a way for us to find Him. Jesus made clear that only those who come on His terms, will join Him in heaven. This book is about truly finding Jesus.
