I was visiting social media groups about parenting children with autism and was frequently hearing parents voice many of the same concerns about things I have dealt with my son over the years. I would find myself messaging other mothers to offer coaching and my advice regarding what I've learned. I thought to myself, "I should put this together in a book." After much encouragement from family, I decided to follow through with this idea. The book was born I am a mother of a teenager with severe nonverbal autism, and I share stories, tips and things I've learned over the years which have helped my son to thrive and have helped my family stay intact and happy. The book addresses isolation, sleep, food, behavior problems, special toys for special kids, prescription medications and supplements, special situations and keeping your family together.
