Mental Cinema: Powerful Technique to Attract Wealth and Prosperity

The Chinese say that "a picture is worth a thousand words". William James, the father of American psychology, emphasized the fact that the subconscious mind will realize any picture existing in the mind and supported by faith. I act as if I were, and I will be. A few years ago I spent some time in the Midwest, speaking at conferences in several states. I wished to have a permanent residence in the region from which I could serve those who wished help. I traveled far away, but the desire did not leave my mind. One night in a hotel in Spokane, Washington State, I leaned on a couch, completely relaxed, immobilized my attention, and passively and quietly imagined myself saying to a large audience, "I am happy to be here; I have prayed for the ideal opportunity. I saw in my mind's eyes the imaginary assistance and felt the reality of what I was thinking. I played the role of the actor, dramatized this mental film and felt satisfied that the images were being transmitted to the subconscious, which would transform them into reality in its own way. The next morning, upon waking up, I experienced a great feeling of peace and satisfaction. A few days later, I received a telegram inviting me to take over the direction of an organization in the Midwest, which I accepted, enjoying the many years I spent there.The method outlined here attracts many people who refer to it as "the mental cinema method". I have received numerous letters from people who listen to my radio programs and my weekly public conferences, telling me of the wonderful results they have achieved by using this technique in the sale of their properties. I suggest to those who own houses or other properties to sell that they satisfy themselves in their own minds with the idea that the price they ask is fair. Then I say that Infinite Intelligence will attract the buyer who really wants to own the property and who will love it and thrive on it. Having done that, I suggest that you calm your mind, relax, abandon yourselves and surrender to the state of sleepiness, which reduces all mental effort to a minimum. Then you must imagine the check in your hands, rejoicing with it, thanking. And fall asleep, feeling the naturalness of all the mental film created in your own minds. They must act as if it were an objective reality and the subconscious mind will take it as a very strong impression - and, through the deep currents of the mind, the buyer and seller will eventually meet.
