What should he do? Honor his promise or follow his heart? Joining in this adventure is a snarled old witch who tells of a prophesy that this wedding will not go on. Much chaos occurs in this classic Scottish fairytale, a playful story about love and what is the meaning of friendship. A wonderful story with a moral for kids of all ages and for us adults who believe in "fairies and witches all sorts of things... "

La Sylphide is the first in a series of children's books based on classical ballets. The Rogue Swan Adventure Series is written and adapted by immigrant children who have just recently come to America. Our books contain original text and illustrations from our wonderfully talented child artists.
The Adventures of a Rogue Swan is an outreach project that uses ballet to help children learn and grow.
