Attributions The experiences human have, while going through different phases of life develops them. Human behavior has attained it s current level majorly based on interactions, with people, and context in which they are placed in. It is human tendency to continuously seek evaluation of situations, events, and behaviors of themselves as well as of others. Every interaction either between a child and a parent, a teacher and a student, a boss with an employee, a street vendor and his/her customer, or a sportsman and his/her opponent, is scrutinized in assertion to what behavior had been exchanged during the particular situation and the way interaction went. People provide their interpretations of the situation or actions, possibly to make sense of it and draw conclusions about oneself, the environment, situation, and people involved. Heider (1958) rightly refers look for cause and effect associations to behaviors of self and others, situations and its conclusions.
