Young Marry has no clue that her father is a vampire and that he was changed because of a promise made to his stepfather. Her best friend Maggie goes missing and is ultimately presumed dead. Marry finds solace in her new, mysterious friend, Cam, who will follow her throughout life. Cam becomes her guide, protector and soon to be husband, as long as the elite vampire society to which he belongs agrees with his union to this human.
Just like her mortal mother and grandmother before her - Marry has found her true love in an immortal. The revelation that Marry's father murdered Maggie, sentences him to death as Marry and her mother escape to Rhode Island to live with her grandmother, Elizabeth. She learns that Cam is not too far behind and already has ties to the family. Rayan - Elizabeth's husband is Cam's older brother - The two of them holding high rank in the group to which they belong.
Their many business ventures and charity donations, leave them able to help children and surpass vampire standards in medicine but not without love, hate, death and betrayal.
Cam and Marry are granted their wish to be married but she will face a choice of her forever, or his forever - always. In the end the decision is not her own to make. Kindness must never be taken for granite and money holds more power than the human eye can see with the elite ones.
