Today, we now understand that a temperature asymmetry as detected by thermography reflects function of the sympathetic nervous system. When the chiropractor implements thermography, not only are they able to obtain important neurological data but also equips the entire chiropractic profession with an objective analysis of when to adjust and when not to adjust. The philosophical and artistic constructs can be debated based on one's personal understanding. However, science (when applied objectively) cannot be argued.
With what we currently know and understand about the nervous system, when a spinal compromise is present, the nervous system will always be affected. Thermography and its application thereof provide the chiropractor an objective neurological gauge.
