This book is a testimony of Dora's 48 years journey of detours and range of emotions she experienced as she struggled to do her own will and not the Will of God as spoken the summer of 1970. This struggle led her through many career choices and ending in full circle to what it was she promised God on that hot summer day; to become the best missionary possible. Even though we may take multiple missteps, God's unconditional love marches with us through those sometimes scary detours or off ramp paths. Each of these off ramp paths enables us to pick up precious critical nuggets to get to our God-given destiny. I am hopeful my story will encourage others to stay the course and trust that the Master Designer will never give up on you or His plans for your future and hope, regardless of how long it takes; at age 18 or age 66.
