The brilliant furnace of the rising sun and the sheer immensity and beauty of the landscape was hard to imagine, and the scenery unfolding before me surpassed all my expectations. There were downpours and spectacular storms, hail hammering on my helmet, the bright flashes of lightning and glorious sounds of thunder. Then there were astounding sunsets, the city lights, night runs, the breathtaking atmosphere of inner cities that, in their busyness, offered incredible intimacy. So hop on board and make no mistake, you will enjoy the ride as much as I have.
