Jack's a pre-teen dragon, the monster even monsters have been taught to fear, and most of his life has been spent fleeing or hiding or heavily disguised. He's pretty sure everything he needs to learn about the world can be found on TV, YouTube and in video games. In fact, Jack would be very happy to live out his (probably) immortal life never leaving his room.
But the Gargoyle School teaches kids the very powerful Science of Magic. Jack's demon of a mother is sure Jack needs that knowledge to thrive, so she hides his dragon wings in a giant backpack, drags him across town and into the Gargoyle School.
The first day of middle school can be challenging for any kid, but guess who ends up in Jack Drackon's homeroom: Zorina Dragonslayer! And things only get stranger from there. An evil stink demon invades the locker rooms! Some huge, unseen power starts rebuilding the broken-down Gargoyle School. And when Jack's flaming sneeze accidentally sets his teacher's hair ablaze, she quickly figures out what he's hiding, but disappears the very next day!
Can Jack rely on the kids in Homeroom 3.14 to help solve these mysteries? Can he trust those kids? Does he even like them?
