現代交通運輸目的已不僅止於滿足基本移動需求,更肩負帶動產業經濟發展、提升民眾生活品質的責任。面對後疫情時代,大眾生活型態逐漸轉變,對於智慧物流以及自駕載具的需求將會增加,如何透過數據資料分析及導入智慧化應用,提升搭乘公共運輸的便利性、安全性與可靠性及服務品質,必須及早部署應對策略。從環境面來看,少子化、高齡化及都市化對於未來交通運輸帶來結構性的影響,且隨著資通訊技術發展,物聯網、5G、大數據分析、雲端運算、邊緣運算、人工智慧、交通行動服務(Mobility as a Service, MaaS)平台、區塊鏈、無人車聯網、機器人、無人機創新應用、沉浸式虛擬實境等新興科技,對於交通產業及其產品與服務帶來相當大的挑戰與科技創新機會。本次專題首先介紹我國交通科技產業發展方向,並從國際智慧運輸發展看台灣交通科技應用的潛力與展望,作為我國後續交通科技產業發展與創新服務推動之重要參考。另配合行政院「台灣5G行動計畫」與交通部「交通科技產業會報」在智慧交通應用創新落實,將以交通科技產業需求出發,推動5G智慧交通應用實證,由實驗場域引動國內新興智慧交通服務發展,亦聚焦陸、海、空場域之國內外智慧應用服務發展趨勢與案例介紹,探討智慧交通科技應用可能面對的挑戰與議題。最後,初探台灣MaaS產業生態系建構,透過此整合多元運輸服務之整體性系統,以協助提高交通運輸網絡的效率與便利性。並且在全球追求淨零轉型推動綠色交通趨勢下,提出「建立綠色交通旅運憑證,以MaaS連結企業採行綠色交通實現碳中和」之商業模式初步構想,期讓MaaS為使用者帶來更多經濟、社會與環境效益。
