B. J. NOVITSKI IS A FREELANCE JOURNALIST specializing in the use of computer technology in architectural practice and education. A regular contributor to Architectural Record, the magazine of The American Institute of Architects, she has also written for A/E/C Systems/Computer Solutions, Progressive Architecture, Managing CA DD, Computer Graphics World, Architecture, Electronic School, Architectural Lighting, and Interiors.
Novitski received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon. She is an active member of the Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture and the National Writers Union. Her awards include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and an Award for Promotion and Development of Computer Graphics from the Pacific Northwest Computer Graphics Conference. She lives and works in Eugene, Oregon, and may be reached at bjn.efn.org.
