韓禮德文集10：語言與社會(簡體書)

語言可以從內部或外部加以研究，也就是可以從生物體內部或從生物體之間的不同視角進行研究。從外部、從生物體之間考察語言的視角實際上就是語言的功能觀。本書從社會的角度考察語言，揭示語言的本質屬性，探討語言的功能，闡明語言在社會人生活中的地位。本書內容豐富，就不同的主題論述了社會語言學或語言社會學的理論，包括語言研究的社會視角、語義潛勢、語言與社會人、語言發展、編碼取向、語言變異與語言品種等。
語碼與語域及社會文言不一樣，它不是語言品種。語碼是說話人選擇語義和聽話人解釋語義的符號組織的原則。功能語言理論認為語碼是語域的決定因素，對在情景類型中選擇主義起作用。
