Mereruka and His Family, Part IV: Mereruka's Chapel, Room XIII

The large mastaba of Mereruka has three sections, one for him, one for his wife, and one their son. His was thoroughly investigated and the results published in 1938. The other two were only investigated during seasons from 2004 to 2009, and the findings presented in parts I and II. This third section re-records the earlier information and new information that was gleaned during the new field work, in two volumes. The second volume completes the publication of all the project's recorded data on the monument with records of Mereruka's main pillared hall, the magazines and the burial chamber. It also discusses themes depicted in the chapel and describes decoration techniques and color conventions. Only the plates are indexed. The two volumes are cross-referenced.
