Suzanne Kunkel is director of the Scripps Gerontology Center and professor of sociology at Miami University, Oxford, OH, where she has been involved in several international initiatives, including a project funded by the U.S. Department of Education to establish an international exchange program for the study of social and health policy in aging nations.
